What does a Home Health Administrator at Sagora do?

  • Responsible for all events and activities occurring in the Hear For You business line, including all operations and delivery of each service to residents.
  • Interact with residents and families on a regular basis to build relationships and promote resident satisfaction.
  • Perform assessments to ensure that all residents are appropriate for the HFY service and communicate with family members any changes.
  • Document to ensure appropriate communication.
  • Recruit, hire, train, discipline, terminate, promote, and motivate all HFY associates.
  • Responsible for new associate orientation, pay changes, insurance and benefits management, worker’s compensation and associate on-the-job injury, safety, motivation, and associate performance evaluations.
  • Report to the Regional Director and/or the Home Office as necessary all aspects of the HFY program operations.
  • Represent the community and/or supervise the representation of the community to prospective residents, ensuring the highest possible level of service.
  • Develop and direct, under corporate guidelines, the Marketing Plan for the HFY program.
  • Develops, with direction from the Regional Director and/or the Home Office, overall operating budget, capital expenditure budgets, rental rates, and the business plan.
  • Approve, monitor, and submit for payment all expenditures relating to the HFY program.
  • Collect revenues in a timely manner and assure accurate and accountable reporting of revenues.
  • Responsible for management and accounting of all petty cash and discretionary accounts according to company policy.
  • Have knowledge of and abide by all governmental laws and licensing requirements which pertain to the successful, legal, and profitable operation of the HFY home care entity.
  • Hold meetings as needed with staff, directors, residents, and residents’ families, in individual and/or group settings.
  • On-call 24-hours for emergency/crisis situations.

What do you need to be a Home Health Administrator?

  • Registered Nurse Required – BSN strongly preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years' previous management experience in the private duty home health industry.
  • Advanced computer and Microsoft Office experience with the ability to create reports and analyze operational issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.
  • A desire to work with senior adults.
  • Ability to solve complex operational and people problems.
  • Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid driver's license to drive on company time as needed
  • Must be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary.
