IT Security Administrator - Hybrid

We are looking for a skilled Security Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our company's systems and networks from cybersecurity threats. The Security Administrator will implement security measures, monitor security logs, conduct security assessments, and respond to security incidents.

Dress Code: business casual (with jeans!)

Status: Hybrid remote schedule - Works in the office Tuesday through Thursday and from home Mondays and Fridays (8a-5p)

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain security systems, applications, and tools.
- Monitor network activity and security logs for unusual behavior.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations.
- Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs to staff members.

Skills/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Security Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
